Fourteen  years ago, a youth pastor had a desire to introduce his young people to a style of music that he had always loved, Southern Gospel. Little did David Wiggins know that this would be the beginning of a ministry that would still be affecting lives over a decade later. Fresh Anointing was formed when several of these youth stepped out in an ensemble to perform with David outside their home church..

No longer youth, these young people have now become husbands, wives, and now moms and dads. They have also grown into mature men and women of God that allow Him to use them through their talents and testimonies.

While traveling all over the country the past few years, Fresh Anointing has coined the phrase “Getting Real With God”. Through their music and live performance Fresh Anointing has made it their goal to challenge everyone to do a self-evaluation of their relationship with Jesus Christ. Fresh Anointing’s main purpose in their ministry is seeing lost souls receive redemption that only comes through true repentance and committing themselves to Jesus Christ. Their second purpose would be to encourage Christians to keep Christ first in their lives, and to have a personal relationship with Him. God has blessed Fresh Anointing so greatly because they seek His will first in this ministry that He has called them into.

Classifying Fresh Anointing’s music into one particular genre of Christian Music has been a tough task for most these days. With their music repertoire ranging from toe-tapping Southern Gospel to some of today’s more modern Praise and Worship, they have been able to reach out and minister to a very diverse group of gospel music fans. If you will take a moment to become familiar with Fresh Anointing I believe you will quickly see the love for God shining through their music as well as their ministry.

Fresh Anointing’s Mission Statement:
“Our Mission is to see souls saved, Christians encouraged and Jesus Christ lifted up in praise, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We pray that something that we sing, say or do will help draw someone closer to Jesus. We intend our music to be a ministry, not just to entertain. We open ourselves to sing anywhere that we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to set an example for a younger generation, so that they can stand tall for what they believe and never be ashamed of the gospel.”

Meet The Group

David T. Wiggins - Fresh Anointing’s Lead Vocalist and Manager is David Wiggins. His ability to lead and direct this young gospel group has defined them as “A New Generation of Southern Gospel”. To share God’s plan of salvation and purpose in life through a young southern gospel music group is refreshing. David brings a vibrant solid voice to the stage every time and never fails to minister. Always giving the opportunity for salvation is Fresh Anointing’s objective. David’s disposition and heartfelt sincerity towards reconciliation with God are fierce qualities that are expressed in love and understanding. David and his wife live in Andalusia, AL. He also has two children, Matthew & Robynn and one grandchild Cayden Thomas Wiggins. All of David's  family has been active parts of  Fresh Anointing's ministriy through the years.

Casey  Mathews - Lead & Alto Vocalist Casey delivers an incredible dominant voice that lends itself to some of the power ballads in Fresh Anointing’s repertoire. Casey’s ability to convey the significance of the lyrics in a song is astonishing. She continues to strive for excellence in her vocal ability and in her daily spiritual walk with God. Casey’s personal testimony is one of turmoil and of a misled youth. Casey now knows the true meaning of Christ and what she has to look forward to in her ultimate retirement plan. The joy of Lord is her strength and her energetic spirit is contagious and invigorating. Casey, her husband and son AJ make their home in Opp, AL.

Michael Frank - Originally from Buffalo, NY, Michael Frank and his wife have made their residence in Red Level, AL. Michael brings such a smooth and rich baritone part to the trio, tying all three voices together in beautiful harmony. Michael’s ear for music and composition is astounding at times. A unique singing style is one of Michael’s many characteristics. He serves not only in the position of baritone singer, but as bus driver/mechanic and sound technician. His skills both on and off the stage are an invaluable asset to the group. Growing up in a Christian home, Michael’s faith in God has been unshakeable and he displays his love for Christ in every action. Michael and his wife Stacey are the proud parents of twin girls Eleora Hope & Elisea Faith and son Elikai Samuel.

Robynn Wiggins - The newest member of Fresh Anointing is really not new to Fresh Anointing's ministry at all. Robynn has been traveling with the group since the beginning. She has had many roles over the years from loading equipment, cleaning the bus, running sound and filling in for a group member if they were out. Robynn has now taken the spot as a full time member singing with the group. Robynn not only brings to the group a beautiful alto voice but a heart for people. We are so excited to see what God is going to do through this young lady since surrendering her life to the call God has placed on it.
